Apple Iphone 5s Review

Iphone 5sAfter testing the Apple Iphone 5s I can happily report back that it is one of the best phones to be released at the time.  Sleek design with a nice 4” screen and aluminum frame.  Brilliant fingerprint unlocking feature and an 8MP camera.

Look and Feel of the Iphone 5s

When you look at the Iphone 5s you can see it just sweats class.  It has a very stylish, sleek design and a very classy look to it.  The talking point of the 5s, as we all know is the fingerprint unlocking feature which is a nice addition.  The performance, speed and reliability of the 5s allows the user experience to be extremely positive and one to remember.  Overall a sleek design, looks very stylish and classy.

IPhone 5s’s Camera

From my experience growing up, if you were a camera loving individual when it came to phones, the Iphone was not the one you’d choose.  The Iphone has always stereotypically been linked to music and music alone.  This being said the Iphone 5s has a well respected 8MP camera.  The technology that comes with the phone is not quite as good as other phones (e.g. Nokia Lumia 925), but camera alone, this ticks the boxes for the majority.

Touch ID

The talking point of the Iphone 5s is of course the fingerprint scanner, found in the home button of the phone.  This allows you to unlock your phone without a PIN or password. Works extremely well and I can safely say; once you have used it a handful of times, you will struggle to go back to using the ordinary PIN lock. At the moment it is quite a lazy luxury but I would put money on this being the norm for all future phones.

Quick Pros and Cons

Pros

– Touch ID works well

– Excellent for music

– Good weight and feel to the phone

Cons

– The battery life could be better

– Small screen (4-inch)

Overall this is a brilliant phone.  Definitely one of the leaders in the market.  It has some cool features but I personally fail to see the Iphone leading in any particular area; be it camera, music or anything else.  This all to one side, I do believe this is one of the best phones out at the moment and definitely deserves the audience that it gets.
