Adding to the collection of Leica lenses for mirrorless camera with Micro Four Thirds sensor, Panasonic officially announced the Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 12mm f / 1.4.
Fixed lens equivalent to 24mm lens comes with a design that is quite large body and made of metal with weighs about 335 grams.
Behind to water splashes and dust resistant body, this lens has 15 lens elements in 12 groups including two lens elements aspherical, 2 lens UED (Ultra Extra-Low Dispersion and one lens lenses ED (Extra-Low Dispersion). With this formula, Panasonic promises a best quality picture to go with Leica standard with high-resolution photos are sharp and minimal distortion.
Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 12mm f / 1.4 is scheduled to be on sale from mid-August 2016. The price is set at around US$1,300.
