Panasonic Nubo: First Home Security Camera with LTE

Security cameras with an Internet connection is very useful for monitoring the condition of the house and its surroundings from a variety of devices. But usually the home camera requires a Wi-Fi signal is quite strong or Internet connection via cable. This condition is sometimes troublesome for users when trying to place it in the required position.

Panasonic present to solve the problem by Nubo. This is the first security camera in the world who coined integrated LTE connectivity support. That way, you get more flexibility when you want to put it.

In addition to supporting 3G and 4G connections, Nubo also water resistant with IP66 certification. Based magnet mounting system also makes it easier when you want to move it. The camera can record 1080p video with 140 degree wide lens. The video results can be uploaded to the cloud, although the resolution will be limited to 720p 10 frames per second when using LTE connections. But if it is connected to Wi-Fi, Nubo will be able to record 1080p video at 30fps.

Besides having a speaker and a microphone for two-way communication, Nubo also have infra red detector and LED light for recording in the dark.

Panasonic Nubo is compatible with Android and iOS platforms. With  application, you can record video, adjust the length of the movie clip, and see activity detected Nubo.
